Job Description:
Position OverviewAs the Sr Director US Operations, you will play
a pivotal role in driving US revenue growth, enhancing brand
presence, and ensuring US customer satisfaction. Reporting to the
Chief Commercial Officer, you will establish Emulate in US and
build a high-performing team and collaborate cross-functionally to
develop and execute strategic initiatives. Key
ResponsibilitiesSales Leadership:
- Develop, execute, and implement a comprehensive sales strategy
to achieve revenue targets.
- Hire, lead, and coach a sales and ops team to optimize
performance and exceed sales goals.
- Identify new market opportunities.
- Establish strategic partnerships with channel partners and OEMs
to drive business expansion and networks effects. Marketing
Strategy:
- Collaborate with the global marketing team to create and
execute digital marketing campaigns that enhance brand visibility
and generate demand.
- Utilize market research and customer feedback to refine and
optimize marketing strategies.
- Communicate findings on alignment and divergence of the product
market fit of Emulate Energy's offering for the US audience.
Customer Success Management:
- Contribute with project management and product management to
ensure success of the pilot projects.
- Oversee the customer success team to ensure high levels of
customer satisfaction, retention, and advocacy for the pilot
projects and beyond.
- Seek strategies to drive upsells, cross-sells, and referrals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments, particularly the teams in
Europe, including product development and operations, to align
sales, marketing, and customer success efforts with overall company
objectives including quarterly OKRs.
- Foster a collaborative and communicative culture across
departments. Performance Metrics and Reporting:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and
analyze the success of sales, marketing, and customer success
initiatives.
- Regularly report on the performance of these functions to the
executive team. Qualifications
- Demonstrated track record of success in sales leadership,
marketing, and customer success roles.
- Proven success in driving revenue growth and achieving business
objectives.
- Strong strategic thinking and execution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve
ambitious targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience from Software-as-a-Software (SaaS) business and
startups is required.
- Experience of energy utilities, the electricity market and
scaling SaaS products is a plus. Future Growth OpportunityThis role
is anticipated to transition into more senior positions for our US
entity within 12 months, subject to performance and organizational
